This comfortable five-day getaway links the gateway port of Tangier with the impossibly photogenic blue city, the world’s largest car-free medina in Fes, and Asilah’s whitewashed, mural-painted ramparts by the Atlantic. Short drives, long lunches and plenty of blue.
Day 1
Airport/port pick-up, then an afternoon loop to Cape Spartel lighthouse, the Hercules Caves and a mint tea overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar. Overnight in Tangier.
Day 2
Drive through the Rif foothills with a stop in Tetouan’s Andalusian medina (UNESCO). Afternoon free to wander Chefchaouen’s blue lanes. Overnight in the blue city.
Day 3
Morning hike to the Spanish Mosque viewpoint, then Roman Volubilis and Meknes’ monumental gates before dinner in Fes.
Day 4
A full day with a licensed Fes guide: Bou Inania madrasa, the tanneries’ rainbow vats, Al-Qarawiyyin and the artisan quarters. Farewell dinner overlooking the medina.
Day 5
Coastal drive to Asilah for lunch inside its mural-painted walls and a beach stroll, then transfer to Tangier port or airport.
